Tire Rack Street Survival Offers Driving Skills to Young People

Car crashes are the leading killer of American teens, often because of simple driving errors.

The BMW Car Club of America Foundation, Tire Rack and Michelin teamed up 20 years ago and founded Tire Rack Street Survival, a safe-driving school. The Illini Chapter of the BMW CCA has offered the class in central Illinois every summer since 2010.

The Illini Chapter’s annual Tire Rack Street Survival safe driving school will be offered on Saturday July 27 and Sunday July 28, 2024 from 7:30 to 4:00. (Breakfast and lunch included with the $125 fee) Registration is now open for young drivers, so encourage your teens, relatives and friends to sign up!  Click here to learn more and if you choose, enroll.  Select a Cat Mossville date from the list of Illinois schools.

For information, including how to register, go to www.streetsurvival.org.

Listen to Illini Chapter President, Bruce Huber, on 1470AM / 100.3FM WMBD explain what Tire Rack Street Survival is all about. Hear how TRSS picks up where Drivers’ Ed. leaves off!
